Fiona Donald is the founder and director of FAB Design & Construct — a qualified builder and design specialist with over 20 years of experience in the building industry. Known for delivering high-quality renovations across the Gold Coast, Fiona leads a team committed to craftsmanship, detail, and seamless project delivery.
Raised on the Gold Coast and a graduate of Southern Queensland University, Fiona brings a global perspective to her work. Her early career in sales and marketing took her to London, the U.S., Canada, and Johannesburg — shaping her distinctive design approach and sharpening her eye for quality.
Since launching FAB Design & Construct, she has developed a reputation for creating refined, liveable spaces that reflect her clients’ needs and lifestyle — from high-rise apartments to coastal homes.
Holding a Certificate IV in Building & Construction, Fiona combines creative vision with hands-on technical knowledge. She and her team manage every stage of the renovation process — from initial concept and design, through to sourcing finishes and coordinating trades — ensuring each project runs smoothly and meets the highest standards.
Her goal is simple: to take the stress out of renovating while delivering results that feel effortless, thoughtful, and entirely personal.

With a solid foundation in interior design and an expanding portfolio in construction, Rebecca Hensher brings industry experience and a deeply practical, solutions-driven approach to her role as Head Designer at FAB Design & Construct. Her unique ability to fuse creative vision with construction feasibility ensures every project is not only beautifully conceived — but efficiently delivered, structurally sound, and built to endure.
Rebecca holds a Certificate IV in Building & Construction and is a QBCC-accredited Site Supervisor, allowing her to take an active leadership role on-site and further bridging the gap between design and delivery. She continues to deepen her technical and regulatory knowledge through advanced construction qualifications, bringing invaluable insight into the complexities of high-rise renovations.
Far more than a designer, Rebecca is deeply embedded in every stage of the build process. She reviews construction documentation, collaborates with clients and site teams, and ensures that the design intent is upheld through to final delivery. Her presence on-site, coupled with her growing command of structural and compliance considerations, positions her as both a creative leader and a trusted technical resource.
Rebecca thrives within FAB’s collaborative culture — working closely with Fiona, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless alignment between vision and execution.
